Copyright and Takedowns
This page explains how copyright complaints, counter-notices, and repeat-infringer moderation are handled for dantes.gg content and submissions.
Last updated: June 7, 2026
User submissions and ownership
Users are responsible for submitting only content they have the right to share. The content license in the Terms of Service lets dantes.gg use submitted content, but it does not override the rights of third-party copyright owners.
If a clip, image, message, audio track, stream segment, or other submission includes material owned by someone else, the submitting user is responsible for having the permissions needed to submit and license it to dantes.gg.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on dantes.gg infringes your copyright, use the Contact page instructions and include enough detail for staff to identify the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing content, and your ownership or authorization.
A complete notice should include your name, contact information, the copyrighted work, the URL or identifying information for the content, a good-faith statement, an accuracy statement, and your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe that was a mistake, use the Contact page instructions and include the removed content, your contact information, a good-faith explanation, and your signature.
We may forward relevant complaint and counter-notice information to the other party when needed to resolve the dispute or comply with law.
Repeat infringers
Accounts or users that repeatedly submit infringing content may lose upload access, site access, or related community access.
Formal DMCA designated-agent registration is still an administrative follow-up before relying on DMCA safe harbor protections.
